Bennett in Prague
A week with Bennett in Prague is like.... Well, we can't get ahead of ourselves. We had a bit of trouble with Bennett initially arriving in Prague.
Waiting at the airport

A day and 3 hours later. . . .
And just when we thought he'd decided to stay in Amsterdam:

Smiles all around.
First view in Prague - not bad!
New Year's Eve fireworks over the Vlatava. We risked life and limb while being in the center of Prague on New Year's, so at least we have a good picture to show for it.
New Year's Day fireworks from our apartment.

Bennett in Weseslas Square with King Vaclav (Wenseslas). We were on our way to watch some NFL in Prague.
Slavia! To do ho! Dame Gol, Dame! Slaaaaaaavia, hey hey oh Slaaaaaavia, hey hey oh Slaaaaavia!
HAKOVANI!
We had so much fun sporting our new hats and watching hockey that we went to another match a few days later. The Jetta beats one defender and is bearing down on the goal! This could send the game into overtime....... The Jetta shoots.... AND SCORES! GOAL!!!!
OK, cars can't play hockey, but if they could, it would look like this:

Bennett and Alex went biking in the snow - with only 3 crashes and 1 semi-permanent condition.

On Saturday we visited Kutna Hora (1 hour outside of Prague), home of the famous "bone church"

At least he was useful! He fixed our lightswitch while he was here.
Vote on the scariest face!
We took a tour of the kasements of Vysehrad Castle, which are the passageways inside the castle walls that soldiers could use to move ammunition and supplies. The castle was never under attack after these walls were built, so either that is a testament to how effective they are, or perhaps the castle itself lost importance. Now the passages and storage areas are used to keep the original statues from the Charles Bridge. I hate to tell you this, but most of the statues on the bridge are copies of the originals.
The man himself: this is Dvorak's gravesite.
We caught this one the day before the tree was taken down. Lucky us!
Prague Castle:
Now you see us....
Now you don't!
Some beautiful but cold winter days!
On the way to the airport. . .

Thanks for coming, Bennett! Off into the sunrise????
