Alex rides his bike

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the racing's not delightful..."

You would think that late March would be a lovely time for a bike race.

Alex rode his bike over to the start line. Snowflakes started falling approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled start.

Jim had volunteered to be a corner marshall so we got the bicycle friendly vehicle out and headed to the race.


Roads look OK for riding--the snow doesn't really seem to be sticking.

Hmmm... maybe a few of these giant flakes are sticking...

A couple people tried to ride, but you can see that racing is not an option.
