Fourth of July Bicycle Adventure

July 3, 2005. The bike adventure began in Bellingham with Bennett.

A beautiful 45-mile ride to the ferry in Anacortes ending with disappointment - a last minute flat tire and we missed our ferry by 30 seconds. Two hours of waiting. :(



July 4, 2005. We made it to Lopez Island and enjoyed the parade with Justine and Ewok (Alex and Mark were there too), a full spread of food at the Colombos and the long awaited fireworks from the water. . . . .

July 5, 2005. We headed home on another beautiful day and almost made it home before it started to pour - Bennett beat us up all the hills. (below: Bennett and Kristina) Next stop for the 3 of us - STP (Seattle to Portland) this weekend!
